Types of Scorpions

There are different types of Scorpions found mostly in summer seasons such as black scorpion, small scorpion, small white scorpion, small yellow scorpion, small brown and light brown scorpions, desert hairy scorpion, and brown bark scorpion etc.

Scorpion Bite Symptoms

Normally after a scorpion bite, one can feel itching, pain, redness and swelling which subsequently cause severe allergic reactions in almost all body. 

Scorpion Bite Treatment at Home

What to do for a scorpion sting? If you are stung by a Scorpion at home, immediately take following measures as First Aid:

Stay Calm.
Clean the wound.
Use ice packs.
Apply anti-allergy cream (if available at home) at the sting area; for example Nerisone cream etc.
Remove the tight clothing and jewelry.
Take any pain killer e.g. Panadol tablet or anti-allergy e.g. Piriton or Softin tablets etc.
Rush towards the hospital as early as possible.
